About NTPrices

NTPrices is a free, independent Switch eShop price tracker. We record the complete price history of every Switch and Switch 2 game across 50+ regional storefronts, so when you see a discount you can instantly tell whether it is a genuine all-time low or just an ordinary sale worth skipping. We also surface the cheapest region in the world to buy each game.

The site has been tracking eShop prices since 2020 and is run by a small independent team — we are an unofficial, independent price tracker.

How We Track Prices — Our Methodology

Our goal is simple: tell you the truth about a price. A “50% off” banner means nothing without history — so we keep the history.

  1. Continuous checks. We re-query the eShop across 50+ regions throughout the day, prioritising popular titles, games currently on sale, and games people are actively viewing.
  2. Full history, not snapshots. Every time a price changes we record it. That complete record is what lets us flag a true all-time low instead of an average discount.
  3. Every region, local currency. Prices are shown in each store’s own currency, and we compute the cheapest region worldwide for each game so you can buy it for the lowest legitimate price.
  4. Visible freshness. Every game page shows a “Price last checked” timestamp, so you always know how current the figure is.

What We Track

Prices & history

Current price, list price, discount depth and the complete price history of every Switch & Switch 2 game, across 50+ eShop regions.

All-time lows

We compare today’s price against every price we’ve ever recorded, so you know if a deal is genuinely the cheapest it has ever been.

Regional prices

The same game compared across 50+ regional stores in local currency, so you can find the cheapest legitimate region to buy it.

Independence & Trademarks

NTPrices is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any console manufacturer or storefront. All game titles, cover art and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification only. We make money from optional advertising, an ad-free membership, and a developer API — never by altering the prices we report.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does NTPrices track eShop prices?
We continuously re-check the eShop across 50+ regional storefronts throughout the day and record the price of every Switch and Switch 2 game each time it changes. Because we keep the complete history, we can tell you whether a current discount is a genuine all-time low or just an average sale.
How often are prices updated?
Prices are refreshed continuously. Popular games, games currently on sale, and games people are actively viewing are re-checked most frequently; the rest of the catalogue is cycled through on a rolling schedule. Every game page shows a "Price last checked" timestamp so you can see how fresh the figure is.
How many regions and games do you cover?
We track every Switch and Switch 2 game we can find on the eShop across more than 40 regional stores, including the US, UK, Europe, Japan, Turkey, India and many more. Prices are shown in each region's local currency, and we highlight the cheapest region worldwide for each game.
How do you find the cheapest region for a game?
For every game we compare the current price across all 50+ regional storefronts and convert each one to your currency, so you can see at a glance which region offers the lowest legitimate price and how much you would save.
Is NTPrices an official store?
No. NTPrices is an independent price-tracking website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any console manufacturer or storefront. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Is NTPrices free to use?
Yes. Browsing prices, price history and deals is completely free. We also offer an optional ad-free membership and a developer API for businesses that need the price data programmatically.
