Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice

Last updated: 6 June 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit NTPrices.com (the "Site").

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as "Device Information."

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • "Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • "Log files" track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • "Web beacons", "tags", and "pixels" are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally when you create an account on the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your e-mail address. We refer to all of this information as "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy.

COOKIES & YOUR CONSENT

We group cookies and similar technologies into three categories. Strictly-necessary cookies are always on because the Site cannot work without them. Analytics and advertising cookies are off by default and only load after you opt in through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link (also in the footer of every page).

If you do not consent to analytics, Google Analytics is never loaded and sets no cookie. If you do not consent to advertising, ads may still appear but are less personalised and we do not share your hashed e-mail with advertising partners.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Personal Information that we collect generally to communicate with you (e.g., sending you e-mail notifications when items on your wishlist go on sale), to help us customize the site for you (e.g., to automatically detect an appropriate country based on your IP address), to help us screen for potential risk and fraud, and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may share your Device Information with third parties. For example, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how users use the Site — but only if you have consented to analytics cookies (see “Cookies & your consent” above). You can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We display advertising on the Site through our advertising partner NitroPay and its programmatic demand partners (advertising exchanges and bidders). For this purpose we may share Device Information and advertising identifiers with these partners so they can select and measure ads. Where you are signed in to an account, we may also share a one-way cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of your e-mail address with these advertising partners to help match relevant advertising; we do not share your e-mail address itself in plain text for this purpose, and the hash is used subject to your consent choices. You can read more about NitroPay's privacy practices here: https://nitropay.com/privacy. You can manage your consent and advertising preferences using the consent and "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" controls provided on the Site, and EU/EEA/UK users can review and change their choices at any time through our consent management prompt.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

YOUR RIGHTS

If you have an account, you can exercise several of your rights yourself, instantly, from the Your Data & Privacy page (sign-in required):

  • Access & portability — download a machine-readable (JSON) copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — permanently delete your account and personal data. We confirm the request by e-mail and then erase your e-mail address, wishlist, library and saved preferences.
  • Rectification — correct or update your preferences in your account settings.
  • Withdraw consent — change your cookie choices via Cookie settings, or turn off wishlist e-mails in settings.

You also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any right we have not automated, or if you do not have an account, contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

Where you are in the EU/EEA or UK, our legal bases for processing are: your consent (analytics and advertising cookies), the performance of a contract with you (running your account and wishlist alerts), and our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Site). Please note your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States, under appropriate safeguards.

DATA RETENTION

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. You can delete it at any time from the Your Data & Privacy page, or by contacting us. When an account is deleted we erase its personal data and retain only a minimal, non-identifying record that a deletion took place (to evidence we honoured your request). Server log files are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

CONTACT US
